Season 1: Rise of Clans ended with the conflict between the main Clans of 'Grey Company' and 'Fangs of Set' and other allies from the Exile Lands succeeding in fighting back the horde of the Black Legions Undead army to save the Exile Lands from being completely enslaved into its embrace.
Season 2: Rise of Nations carries on where S1 left off. Those who rose against the Black Legion banded together into a War like faction of Hathor-Ka while those of Mitra following built Freeland. Out of the ashes a third Faction also arises, that of Thyri, under the control of the Black Legions surviving Dread Lords.
As a player you get to pick which Faction to join, the warring factions of Hathor-Ka and Thyri or the Neutral Freeland. Each with its own style of RP, acceptable religions, themes and Territory. From within characters may join or build your own Clans, contest for Leadership and build a Nation or Kingdom, be a loner or a Hero in the war, what happens is up to you and your choices and actions forge the success or failing of your chosen faction into the start of next season.
With the rise of Hathor-Ka and Thyri a Nordheimer Mitran, Erik the Red, took Decadence and declared it and the surrounding lands as Freeland, home to those of true hearts to stand as a light in the darkness. A beacon of hope in the Savage conflicts between factions where neutrality holds true.
The Brothel was blessed and converted to Mithra's monastery for the Mitran holy warriors and the town was opened to all so that they may see the light of Mitra and convert to the truth. Later destroyed in the final battles of the Great War against the Black Legion the spirit of Freeland lives on and so the town of Lions Rest was built and opened its doors for all to trade and find safety from the wars and conflicts of the Exile Lands.
Mitra though other religions are permitted if true of heart among Ymir, Derketo, jhebbal Sag and Crom. Worship of Set and Yog are not permitted in Freeland.
Mercenary: Citizens may hire out their services to Thyri and/or Hathor-Ka
Traders: Can trade goods with both Thyri and/or Hathor-Ka
True Hearts: Honorable and honest theme of moral and ethical nature
Politics: Peace and trade agreements with Thyri and Hathor-Ka
Born from the union between the Grey Company, Fangs of Set and the others who opposed the Black Legion, Hathor-Ka is best described as the Grey to Thyri’s Black and Freeland’s White. Mixed in views with their pact to the union holding them strong and together as a Warrior nation.
Nobody would be foolish to call them benevolent for they serve only their desire for conquest and power. Locked in conflict with Thyri for the Exile lands Hathor-Ka attracts Warriors of honorable, yet morally questionable persuasion.
Primarily Set and Jhebbal Sag though Derketo, Ymir and Crom followers are welcomed. Yog and Mitra worship is forbidden.
Werebeasts: Special Race quest, receive Werebeast trasmogs for character and Thralls: Requires Jhebbal Sag religion
Serpentmen: Special Race quest, receive Serpentmen trasmogs for character and Thralls. Requires Set religion
Warrior Nation: Theme is based on Honor but moraly gray Warrior culture
Politics: War with Thyri, shaky peace with Freeland but reliant on trade and services
Nothing good ushered forth from the dark embers of the Black Legion. Some say Thyri is controlled by the surviving Dread Lords to conquer the Exiled Lands. Other say it is simply a land of sinners and decadence, where Yog is freely worshipped by more than simple minded barbarians and Derketo is followed for the darker side of Death and Lust. Some things are known for sure, Thyri attracts the darkest and corrupted among the Exiles, Necromancy is openly practiced and the undead are a prominent force of the Kingdom.
Yog and Derketo though darker followers of Set, Ymir and Crom are welcome. Mitra worshipers are generally eaten or turned into Undead Thralls.
Necromancy: Quest to get access to Skeleton skins for Thralls
Vampires: Special Race questline, receive apparition trasmog for mist form and RP as a Vampire.
Macabre: General theme of Thyri is Evil, Dark, Erotic and Macabre including structures and clothing
Politics: War with Hathor-Ka, leaves Freeland alone due to its reliance upon their trade and service
